See that man in the first .gif hugging Sirius? That man holding Harry back in the second .gif? That man is Remus Lupin. Let’s talk about him for a second. Remus Lupin was Sirius’ best friend. His friendship is overshadowed by Harry’s relationship with Sirius sometimes in the series. But let us not forget how important Sirius was to Lupin too. Lupin was his best friend since their Hogwarts days. They’ve known each other for so long that they could probably guess one another’s thoughts; just like any other best friends would. Remus kept Sirius out of trouble, and Sirius kept Remus from holding back on life too much. Their friendship was amazing, and not something to be forgotten about. We have to remember the pain that Lupin went through when Sirius died. He had just lost his last best friend on Earth. And what does he do? Make sure Harry is okay. Lupin puts Harry before himself even when he himself is in great pain as well. We have to remember that about him. Remus Lupin, a selfless man.
